I LOVE NEW YORK
I just got back from 5 days in New York and oh how I love that city!! I love that you can get literally anything you want to eat at any time of the day and that 90% of that can be delivered … I love that you can walk most places, and I love the sights, sounds and smells of the city.
Of course it helped that the weather was beautiful for the end of January so it wasn’t cold, snowy, and windy. I was there to help my friends Robin & Mike work the New York International Gift Fair and it was hard work but any excuse to get me to the city and I’ll take it. Plus, at the Gift Fair you get to see all the latest and greatest in home décor and kitchenware etc.
Because I’m obsessed with food – the coolest thing I found while wandering around was this molecular gastronomy kit for home cooks. https://www.mmtumshop.com/collections/molecule-r/ It’s not widely available in the US yet but I can’t wait to get one and try it!!! I can’t believe how cool I think it is because I really don’t like science or math or anything like that – but I guess food trumps the other stuff!!!
